Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of removing dry debris (dust dirt) and wet messes (spills, staining) in one session without the need to switch out devices. They can also help save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Find models that automatically empty their bin and fill up their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads with the dock that is specifically designed for them.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer for its relatively low cost and is among the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is simple and the quick-start manual gets you running in no time with an entire dust bag, water tank and a hard floor.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. Its mops spin at high speeds and apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, which makes short work of pet hair, dirt, and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner has four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments as well as an intuitive app which lets you choose the type of cleaning you want for each room.
For instance, you can, ask the robot to clean the kitchen and living room thoroughly, but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and its smart navigation technology are excellent too and the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models have difficulty overcoming. The only problem is that the robot tends to crash into objects and walls at full speed. However an inspection of the history of cleaning in the app will reveal exactly what the robot completed, where it's going, and which obstacles it has encountered or avoided.
The docking station features a handy LCD screen that indicates the time when maintenance is required, such as emptying debris and cleaning the dirty water tank. It is also able to mix detergent into the tank in a controlled manner, using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum come with a long-running time. The mop is able to run for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode, before needing recharging or returning to the base. You can also view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is clearly laid out and easily understood however we would like to be able to differentiate between a vacuum and mop clean, when examining a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's flagship robot vacuum and mop. The model this year has an agitator that doubles as its mopping pad. This enhances the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to remove small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may miss.
As with the two other Roborock models I've tested it also has a 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology to help to avoid furniture, walls and other obstacles. automatic hoover goes one step further by incorporating a dual-camera that can identify objects, determining if they are walls or other surfaces. It then can automatically alter its direction and clean them without missing a beat.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've examined, but it's also the most packed with features. Its sleek angular design is eye catching, and it only has three buttons that are physically accessible. The power button, which also resumes the cleaning mop button, which doubles up as a child-lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is automatically filled and the bin automatically refills.
The only drawback I could find with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if needed) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mount, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of intelligent features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these through the Roborock app that is also the home of its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings, track battery life and component maintenance. You'll need to go through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a leader in the industry with cutting-edge features, high suction power, and advanced mopping capabilities. Its innovative design lets you to personalize and efficiently clean while saving time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first one to provide 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is one of the most powerful choices available. This powerful vacuum can clean up pet hair, crumbs and other dry messes. It comes with a mop that is excellent quality that can clean hard floors without the use of pads. The X40 is also extremely quiet in operation, with only occasional bursts during mode changes or self-maintenance.

It can also be programmed to eliminate areas that have carpet and only mop hard floors or vice versa. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.
The app is easy to use and understand The X40 comes with a variety of smart features that are easy to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. They can also adjust suction power, alter modes, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping setting. Continue will also track its progress, and alert you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many convenient features, making it an ideal option for busy families. Its docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, washes mop pads and refills them with fresh water and cleaning solution. It can also detect the moment when the mop pad has reached its capacity to the max and alert you to the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's among the most expensive models available, but it packs in many additional features that distinguish it from. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature of its mop, utilizes two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than that of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni and can remove pet hair and small dirt particles as well as picking up spills and wet spots.
The mop is also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the build-up of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a feature that we haven't seen on other robot mop and vacuum models. It could be a great method to keep your home clean longer.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen in the market, sporting metallic and white colors that is elegant and stylish. It is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this list but it's not too heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed. Mopping is well designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. They can even extend to 2mm of baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice addition.
